With air conditioning, for instance, these structures can serve as cooling stations. Likewise, during outdoor winter festivals, these spaces can help provide warmth.

From duck blinds to wind breaks while children wait for a school bus, there are so many ways that a used storage container can be put to use. Even the oldest containers can still serve a purpose as a billboard support for upcoming events, there are many ways that these large structures can serve a number of purposes. Once they can no longer serve any of their intended purposes, there are major advantages to the recycling of these much used crates. For instance, for each recycled shipping container, around 3,500kg worth of steel is reused. In addition, this recycling also saves all of the traditional building materials, including wood, bricks, and mortar, which will not need to be used.
