Everyone needs a career in their life time. This could be paid or unpaid. No career is valued more or less than another, it just is what you make of it. If you have a dream then it needs to be accomplished. However, finding that dream can sometimes be a little bit difficult. Here are just a few out of the box ideas when it comes to careers for you to think about.

Making plastic cylinders for commercial use
This goes back to the blow molding idea. Blow molding is used for so many different things when it comes to industrial purpose. Wide mouth commercial jars, industrial plastic containers, colored cylinder bottles and so much more are all made a plastic blow molding companies. It’s a very interesting company to be apart of, no matter which area you work in. Places like this are very much manual labor and usually are located in some sort of factory so if that’s not what you are looking for, then maybe move on to one of the other ideas.

Tandem sky diving
Lots of people love to go sky diving but most of them only go the one time or a couple of times at most. It is illegal to jump out of an aircraft above a certain amount of feet alone until you have a certain amount of tandem jumps under your belt. Someone needs to be that tandem partner right? You can get your sky diving certification and become a sort of sky diver coach if you are any kind of adrenaline junkie. If jumping out of planes all day every day isn’t something that is appealing to you, there’s more.

Mystery shopping for various companies
Being a mystery shopper isn’t something that people thought could be done for a career. There are so many sites online that will hire just about anyone to by a mystery shopper for them and will pay them by the job. However, you can actually get a certification to be a professional critic and become a mystery shopper. This also includes being a mystery eater. This means you would go to restaurants and rate their food, service, time frames, policies, etc just like you would at a retail store. Except you get to eat. It doesn’t get much better than that! And you even get your meal reimbursed.

Working From Home
There are more opportunities than you would know that don’t require you to leave your home. Many freelance writers, call center representatives and personal assistants never have to leave the comfort of their own home. If your main career is a stay at home mom or dad but you are looking for ways to make a few extra dollars then this might be your answer. Be careful when you are looking for telecommute jobs because while there are definitely a lot of legitimate opportunities out there, there are just as many scammers waiting for you.

Being a Horse Exerciser
This is an excellent second career. Say you’ve been making wide mouth commercial jars for years and you’re now done. Now it’s time to pick up another career. You don’t have to go to school to be a horse exerciser. You simply should have experience in stables and around horses. A horse exerciser makes a surprisingly high amount of money doing what they do, as they should. Exercising horses is a lot more work that you’d think.

So wide mouth commercial jars and eating mysterious food isn’t for you- so what? There is bound to be something out there that you can find that will really give you that sense of satisfaction. There’s a saying that goes, “If you find a job that you truly love to do, you’ll never have to work a day in your life.” The idea is that doing something you love isn’t work, it’s not a burden and you don’t only do it for the paycheck. Find something that you would do even if you didn’t get paid- that’s the way to find a career! Get paid to have a hobby.
